It seems like yesterday that I was saying hello to 2012, this year has gone by so quickly. But I can honestly say good riddance, 2012 was one of those years where I can look back and say honestly that I'm glad that it is over. The last few months of 2012 were riddled with unbelievable deaths of people I knew and complete strangers as well.
Through it all, it wasn't a horrific year, just one marred with lots of lessons for me, some insightful, some painful, and some filled with accomplishment and glee ( the emotion not the show..). I did have some really great achievements in 2012, such as having an article featured in a local magazine in my hometown of Charleston, SC and having my first natural hair feature as a natural hair model. I also fired my two employers and began to strike it out on my own full time as a Holistic Health Practitioner and Wellness company owner.
. I met some amazing new friends online and in "real life" and I made some great strides in my own personal health. I finally beat my pernicious anemia....I used to crave and eat ice like a fiend.... but that is no more due to great multivitamin I started taking. I also have had no return of any bad cells in my womb which has been a huge relief. This time in 2011 they were pushing for me to have a hysterectomy... God is awesome! I still haven't reached my weight goal of 155 lbs but I will this year, I am determined! I even started a 30 day hula hoop challenge today to jump start my health fitness.
Personally, 2012 was the year of introspection and growth for me. I was humbled by a lot of events in 2012 and I will surely take those well learned lessons with me into this year. I've been using a great workbook to help me actualize my goals for 2013 and I am looking forward to seeing how things will turn out. I am well on track to seeing greater stability in my personal life and in my business. My theme word for 2013 is completion! I will finish everything I start this year and I won't stop until I get it done. I realized this past year that I am my own stumbling block, and that there was always four fingers pointing back at me when I tried to place blame on anyone else. So yeah...goodbye 2012....I really won't miss you....hello 2013, I can't wait for us to get acquainted! Happy New year...Let's make this one the best year yet!
Yours In health!
