" I know love and I experience unconditional love within"
Today I witnessed a mad scramble in various stores around the city of people rushing to buy tokens of love to express their sentiments on this day we have adopted as a day of love, Valentine's Day. I couldn't help but to wonder how many of these people actually loved themselves.
We often go out of our way to express love to others, sometimes to the point of depleting ourselves. Forgetting the premise that we have to full up our own love storehouses before we disseminate love to anyone else. I have been guilty of this so many times, as a natural nurturer and giver I want to see everyone well and happy, but often I would neglect myself in order for others to have. I've learned some valuable lessons from doing this and I make it a point now to love and nurture myself first so that I can be at 100% to provide to those who require my love, time, attention and services.
Loving yourself is not a selfish act! Below is a quick reminder from me to LOVE YOURSELF!
